Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Duluth, MN Church Has Dirt Crawl Space Sealed to Promote Building Longevity

A church in Duluth, MN had a dirt crawl space that was prone to wetness. Concerned about how this was affecting humidity and temperature levels in the rest of the building, they reached out to us about our Dr. Energy Saver services.  A Design Specialist trained in energy-saving solutions, visited the space to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. It was recommended that a CleanSpace® vapor barrier be laid over drainage matting. These two products work together to direct water toward the 5 SmartDrain® outlets installed in the crawl space. TerraBlock™ insulation and closed-cell spray foam was applied to fully seal and regulate temperature in the space.  The DBS Foreman and production crew installed these products, sealing pipes, and gaps with spray foam. This total crawl space encapsulation with ensure protection of the building, from its air quality to structural stability.
