Rich performed a home energy audit and discovered the crawl space did not have proper insulation around the windows and rim joists. The outdoor air was entering the crawl space and the home resulting in high heating costs to keep this home comfortable. The crawl space had an exposed earth floor that allowed moisture into the home. The results were mold and musty odors throughout the home. The solution was to insulate using closed cell spray foam around all windows and rim joists. CleanSpace® waterproofing barrier was installed along the walls of the crawlspace and the exposed earth floor to stop moisture. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew. This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable!
