Over 100-Year-Old Home in Minneapolis, MN with Uneven Floors Repaired with DBS SmartJack® System Solution

The owner of this home in Minneapolis, MN noticed the flooring in their over 100-year-old home had grown uneven over the years. Looking for a repair to the issue, they reached out to DBS.

Design Specialist Andy Bost went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, Andy generated a quote for our SmartJack® System to be installed in the crawlspace.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed a main beam and 8 SmartJack® supports to help correct the uneven flooring. The crew also sealed off the space with CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to waterproof the crawl space.

Now that the flooring has been corrected and permanently stabilized, the homeowner feels much more relaxed without the need to worry about their foundation.
