Settled Concrete at Arden Hills, MN Business Lifted and Leveled
Challenge
This sidewalk in Arden Hills, MN settled and cause uneven areas. This became a major tripping hazard, so DBS was contacted for our professional and permanent solutions.
Design Specialist Justin Mundahl visited the location to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate and to provide a quote. After a careful inspection, our PolyLevel® lifting solution was recommended. This solution will permanently lift the sidewalk to create an even surface once again.
Solution
A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a team. To begin the process, the team had to drill small holes into the concrete that had sunk. Once the holes are drilled, the PolyLevel® foam is injected under the slab. This foam expands to lift the concrete back to an even position and then hardens to stabilize the movement. This solution is water-resistant to prevent new settlements from occurring.
This sidewalk can now be used safely without fear of trip hazards.
