Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowners. After a thorough inspection, Henrik suggested DBS waterproofing and PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing Systems. A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 16 PowerBrace™ I-beams to permanently stabilize the foundation. The crew also installed a WaterGuard® drainage system as well as a new SingleSafe™ sump pump and covered the walls in a thick poly material called CleanSpace® to waterproof the walls. Now that the basement has been permanently stabilized and properly waterproofed, the homeowner can relax comfortably in their home year-round and begin finishing the space.
