The owner of this home in Tower, MN was having issues with keeping their crawl space dry. There was water seeping through the concrete walls causing water damage on the floors. The owner called DBS in hopes of finding a waterproofing solution. Director of Sales & Service Royce Bunn went out to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate of the issue. Royce informed the owner that DBS had a waterproofing solution that would solve their issues. A DBS Foreman was sent out to the home along with a crew to install the waterproofing system. they installed drains around the perimeter of the crawlspace by jackhammering a trench for the patented WaterGuard® drain system. WaterGuard® drains collect water running down from the walls and any water leaking up through the footings around the foundation and drops the water into an UltraSump™. The UltraSump™ then drives the water up and away from the foundation and if the power were to fail, a backup battery would kick in with the ability to remove up to 12,000 gallons before dying. Now that the crawl space has been properly waterproofed the homeowners can relax comfortably in their home living in healthier conditions and be confident that their belongings are safe.
