Homeowners in Kettle River, MN were tired of water issues in the basement. After thoroughly inspecting the leaky basement, Rich designed a custom plan for a basement waterproofing system including a vapor barrier, powerful new sump pump, and drain tile. DBS Foreman Dustin Behning and his crew installed our basement waterproofing products. First, they dug a trench around the perimeter of the basement and carried out the concrete. From there, they installed our WaterGuard® drainage system and surrounded it with gravel to encourage proper drainage, and covered it with new concrete. Once the drain system install was complete, they connected it to a TripleSafe™ sump pump. To prevent moisture build-up via the basement walls, DBS installed CleanSpace® vapor barrier. This flexible poly material will collect water and moisture, and direct it into the basement drainage system below. This homeowner now has a proven system for to keep the basement dry for good.
