This Radisson, WI home was built in the early 1900's. With a rock foundation and a cement floor, it was prone to taking on water. After conditions worsened and a water heater was badly damaged, they contacted DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate to fix the leaky basement. It was determined that drain tile would be installed as well as a new sump pump to protect the basement against water intrusion.DBS Foreman Taylor Allen and his crew worked on the interior waterproofing job. The crew began by breaking out concrete to create a trench around the home's footing. Our WaterGuard® drain system was put into place and will effectively capture wall and floor seepage. Water collected by the drain is directed to a new UltraSump™ sump pump with a battery back-up. The crew finished the job by burying the discharge line in the lawn away from the home.  This family can now rest easy knowing their basement has the utmost protection in waterproofing technology.
