Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Multiple Products for Wet Basement in Duluth, MN

This Duluth, MN had been standing for 100 years when homeowners bought it in 2012. They started noticing water coming in through cracks in the north wall of the basement, leading to damage to the walls and floor. Looking for a permanent solution, they reached out to DBS after learning about us on local radio.  DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home and conducted a free, no-obligation estimate for the work in the basement. It was determined that a WaterGuard® drainage system would be dug around the perimeter of the basement, accompanied by the CleanSpace® vapor barrier on the wall.  DBS Field Supervisor Kevin Steffey was the foreman on the job, leading the production crew's installation of the mentioned products. The waterproofing system was completed with two sump pumps, SuperSump® Premier Pump System and an UltraSump®. Those pumps were connected to discharge lines, connected to IceGuard® drains to prevent wintertime freezing.  They also installed a SunHouse™ Basement Window Well Enclosure, to keep dirt, water, and pests away from the basement window.  The homeowners now have a dry basement they can count on!
