These Duluth homeowners reached out to DBS for waterproofing and wall stabilization help after seeing the beginning stages of wall failure and mold on their basement walls. Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home, assessed the problem, and created a solution for the unwanted water and failing walls. WaterGuard® and our TripleSafe™ Sump Pump were recommended to make sure the basement stays dry all year long. To permanently stabilize the walls our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System was installed along the perimeter of the basement. PowerBrace™ Beams stop future bowing from occurring and will be tightened over time in an attempt to bring the wall back to level. A DBS Foreman and his crew successfully installed the products. These homeowners now enjoy a safe, stable and dry basement!

Additional Wall Failure

This wall is perfect for PowerBrace™ Support Beams. It is in the initial stages of failure but will only get worse over time without a proper stabilization system.

Mold Damage and WaterGuard®

This wall had severe water damage and mold problems. Even after being cleaned with bleach you can still see where the mold was located. Our WaterGuard® System was installed along the perimeter of the basement allowing water to drain out of the basement and prevent moisture buildup.

WaterGuard® System Installed

WaterGuard® is installed along the perimeter of the basement and covered with concrete. This sits flush with the floor and can have carpet, or tile placed on top of it.

Water Damage and Structural Failure Repaired

Our WaterGuard® System is installed along the perimeter of the basement flooring. PowerBrace™ Wall Beams can be installed on top of the WaterGuard® System and immediately stabilize bowing walls.
