Apparent Basement Issues
Sometimes basement issues can be hard to see or understand, but when you have mold growing in your basement there are clear signs that something should be done to mitigate and prevent the issue from happening.
Moisture and a Finished Basement
This homeowner had partially finished their basement, so it was important to them that they found a solution that would help them maintain the finished area without needing to worry about mold and mildew developing on and in the walls.
SuperSump Installed
To reduce the amount of water present in the basement we installed a "SumperSump" sump pump which connected to the new drain tile we installed. This combination allowed water around the home to effectively drain into the sump and be pumped away from the home.
Mold Killed and Water Removed
This sump pump has been properly installed and in the process, we even made use of a pre-existing opening in the side of the home that was in need of repair. This solution helps create a comfortable environment for the homeowner which will be less susceptible to mold growth.
Alternate Water Control Solutions
There are several methods that homeowners can try to avoid basement leaks and flooding, but if you do not have your basement professionally waterproofed you are likely to deal with the same issues in the future. If you have tried adding gutters to your home with no change in the amount of water flowing into your basement we would love to take a look and try to help permanently solve the issues you're facing.
