Leaky Basement Problem in Lake Nebagamon, WI
Challenge
Customer’s called DBS looking to repair their leaky basement, saying that the porch was sinking, causing water to pool around the house and come into their house. Whenever concrete, porches, garages, etc. begin to sink, they often create a few new problems. DBS has worked with quite a few cases where the sinking causes pooling of water around the area, that ultimately gets into the house, porch, garage, and leads to water damage, eventually turning into a mold problem. All these residential problems create an unsafe environment for living, but DBS can help.
Solution
DBS went to the household to take a closer look at the problems and needs of the customer. General Manager, Jeffrey Alli identified the problem. The house needed multiple services to maintain a waterproof status. He came to the conclusion that the home would need to divert water away using our LawnScape and Yard drainage services, while also keeping the basement dry with our foundation leakage service. The LawnScape Outlet would drain water away from the structure, the foundation wall of the house will be dug up and sealed to keep water from running into the basement. DBS worked to repair cracks and ensure all systems installed are working properly, while waterproofing the walls. We also planned to slope away from the house to create proper water drainage for the customers. By choosing the yard drainage, LawnScape, and foundation leakage services from DBS, the house and yard were protected from further leakage into the basement and no pooling around the house.
