DBS received a class explaining how there was a problem in the clients basement with water. DBS works exclusively with waterproofing and basement problems. Solution
Following this call DBS had multiple solutions for the wet basement. The client said it potentially had mold, there was a current sump pump system, and the basement wall (although totally finished) was having trouble staying dry. DBS was able to offer multiple solutions towards fixing this problem. We first ask whether the client is looking for interior or exterior waterproofing. If the client is unsure, scheduling an on-site to identify what the client needs can easily be arranged. In this situation, we sent our design specialist, Royce Bunn to inspect the household surroundings and basement problems. Although the basement is fully finished, there is still potential for problems. Many customers do not expect to have problems with a finished basement, but there’s a long list of problems that can still happen in a perfectly finished basement. When a sump pump gives out or the yard allows water to get into the home, that can cause a big water damage problem. The insulation, flooring, etc. has potential to be replaced when water damage occurs. If this damage goes ignored, it starts to create mold.
