Basement Finishing Photo Album: Plymouth, MN Basement Finishing Creates Home Gym and Office Space

This Plymouth, MN homeowner wanted to capitalize on the square footage in the basement. Their dream was to have another living room, a home gym, and office space. Having worked with DBS in the past to correct a bowing wall and install a waterproofing system, they wanted to finish their basement with the DBS water-resistant system. DBS Design Specialist Jason Swanson visited the home for a free, no-obligation estimate and came up with a custom plan that would incorporate this homeowner's wishlist.  DBS Carpenter Donny Whiting lead the install on this basement finishing project. The team also installed EverLast™ wall panels - the insulated version lined the outside walls and uninsulated for the inner walls. These wall panels are hung via a metal framing system, making them incredibly durable and stronger than drywall.They installed our ultra-durable, scratch-resistant MillCreek™ flooring throughout the basement. This mahogany color is UV-resistant and provides a thermal break from the cold basement floor.This owner was happy with the work done and now has a healthy, safe, and comfortable basement to use for years to come.
