Homeowners in Minneapolis, MN wanted to upgrade their partially finished basement. Because basements are prone to occasional moisture and mold, they were interested in learning more about our water-resistant basement finishing materials. After doing research online, they reached out to DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate for their basement project. Our Basement Finishing expert Jason Swanson was the Design Specialist for this project. He visited the home, consulted with the homeowners, and created a custom plan for this basement finishing project with wall panels, new flooring, and a ceiling system. The DBS team of expert carpenters began this project by removing the existing drywall, paneling, and carpet. From there, they installed our water-resistant products, as well as completed base electrical; installing outlets, switches, jacks, lighting, and other finishes. The homeowners chose MillCreek Flooring™, a scratch-resistant and moisture-proof flooring, in our natural oak color. Our team also installed our EverLast™ wall panels and ceiling panels with recessed can lights. These homeowners are excited to get some great use out of this new family space!
