Fixing a flooded basement floor in Duluth, MN
Challenge
We recieved a call from the homeowners of this house that had been affected in the Duluth 2012 flood. The basement of the home had been finished and was completely carpeted. When the basement flooded, all of the carpet had to be torn up and removed. When the homeowners started thinking about recarpeting, they realized they wanted something they would not have to worry about water damage with again. With that in mind, they picked up the phone and gave us a call.
Solution
When Tysen, one of our design specialists, came in to look over the basement and meet the homeowners, he knew we would be the perfect fit for what the homeowners were looking for. When Tysen told about our inorganic, thermal dry basement flooring, the homeowners jumped on the idea. Our flooring will not be ruined by water, and if one piece should need replacing, the entire floor does not have to come up. We can come in and replace that one piece and the floor will be as good as new. Our guys came in and got the job done right. The homeowners were pleased with the end results. Another job well done by our fabulous crew!
