Settling Foundation in Ashland, WI Stabilized with Helical Piers

After Ashland, WI residents purchased this home, they discovered issues with the foundation. Wanting to restore their comfort and peace of mind, they turned to DBS to preserve the structural integrity of their forever home!

DBS Design Specialist James Miller visited the home and completed a thorough estimate for the foundation repair work. He crafted a plan to stabilize the crawl space beneath the home, as well as the perimeter of the foundation utilizing our helical piers.

DBS Foreman Trevor Ingle and Installed Dakota King completed this installation. They began by supporting the crawl space with a supplemental support beam and our SmartJack® system. From there, they installed 12 helical piers to lift and support the settled home. Helical piers are driven into the ground until they reach weight-bearing soil. At that point, the weight of the home is then transferred to load-bearing strata deep beneath the ground's surface, providing structural support that lasts.
