Proudly serving Minnesota and Wisconsin - including Duluth, Minneapolis, Eau Claire and nearby areas
The presentation was a little longer than I expected but company information, product information and process information was provided as well as measuring the area of the project work. It was a thorough presentation. I may have been informed of the amount of time the quote presentation would take but I do not remember.
The two person crew that showed up (Chris and Luc) were professional, courteous and keep me informed throughout the whole process.
Did as much or more than I expected.
My project consisted of lifting a big portion of my garage floor that had settled substantially in one corner at a vacation property we had just purchased. The floor was no longer providing support for the garage bearing wall and created a gap to all kinds of critters. I had done some research between traditional mud jacking and poly jacking and received quotes from both. As my research indicated, poly lifting would likely be the more expensive option and it was. In my opinion, the cost difference was not ridiculous. My background is in construction and currently work in a structural engineering office. The large difference for me was going to be the weight of the material that would be needed to fill the void and raise the concrete back up to where is should be. Per researched information the poly foam is 3 - 4 pounds per cubic foot and traditional mudjacking material can be 100 - 150 pounds per cubic foot. I was concerned the additional weight of traditional mudjacking material would be more likely to continue the settling issue.
