DBS Residential Solutions Nominated for the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics

DBS Residential Solutions of Duluth, Minnesota has been nominated for the BBB Torch Award for Ethics. DBS Residential Solutions is a local, family owned contracting company specializing in foundation repair, basement waterproofing, home comfort, and basement finishing. Their mission statement is “DBS Residential Solutions challenges the status quo of contracting and building science. We believe we can better the lives of everyone we come in contact with, by providing permanent solutions and creating lasting relationships with “WOW” service.”

DBS Residential Solutions strives to achieve the highest standard of ethical practices and is honored to be nominated for such a prestigous award.

The Torch Awards for Ethics is open to all for-profit businesses of any size in Minnesota and North Dakota. Nominees must be in good standing with BBB; however, BBB Accreditation (membership) is not a requirement. Companies entering the 2016 Torch Awards for Ethics competition will be judged in one of four categories based on their number of employees: Category I: Companies with 1-10 employees Category II: Companies with 11-50 employees Category III: Companies with 51-175 employees Category IV: Companies with over 175 employees.

Entries for the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics will be reviewed by a panel of volunteer judges independent of BBB and its Board of Directors. Criteria for selection are based on the six “Principles of Trust!” established by BBB. Winners will be recognized during an award ceremony on October 27, 2016, 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the McNamara Alumni Center.
