Tilted Front Steps
As you can see the first step of the stairs leading into the home had separated from the rest of the stairs and was creating a large gap between the first and second stair.
Causes of Concrete Sinking
One of the causes of concrete sinking is when the soil gets washed out from underneath the concrete. This supporting soil often gets removed when excess water is drained from the area. It looks like the water from the gutters may have once run through this area.
Significant Sinking
The concrete stair had sunken by over three inches before the homeowner had chosen to get a free estimate. They understood the problem was not going to fix itself.
Sunken Driveway
This section of the driveway had sunken below the opening of the garage and made it difficult to bring cars in and out of the garage.
Slanted Concrete
One end of the driveway had sunken significantly while the other end had not moved. Fortunately with PolyLevel we're able to strategically level the concrete as needed.
The Big Drop
Here you can see how the concrete driveway had dropped several inches below the garage floor.
A Level Driveway
With our PolyLevel system we strategically drilled holes and injected our polyurethane expanding foam beneath the concrete. When completed carefully we create a level driveway that can be driven on in as little as 15 minutes.
Level Stairs
With the completion of this project, this went from being over three inches sunken from its original position to being completely level once again.
Smooth Driving Surface
We completely eliminated the large bump that cars were required to cross if they wished to enter the garage. This surface is now much safer for vehicles and is no longer a tripping hazard either.
