Beginning To Blow In Insulation
At this home we were able to begin dense packing the walls with cellulose insulation by first removing the siding.
Opening Up The Walls
We cut small holes in the walls we can reach our tools deep into the wall cavity and tightly pack insulation throughout the whole wall.
Repeating the Process
We repeat this process between all of the studs on the exterior wall.
Thorough Insulation Throughout The Home
Dense Packing Insulation provides a fantastic insulation barrier between the interior of the home and the outside climate, but it is important to make sure the walls are packed tightly or the insulation will not be completely effective. Our production crew ensures they pack the walls tightly and don't miss small spaces that may otherwise go overlooked.
After The Insulation Is Packed In
After the dense packing insulation has been installed into the wall cavities we cover the openings we made and place the siding back into place.
BEFORE: The Old Attic Insulation
It's not uncommon for us to see attics like this which have an assortment of insulation strewn about with seemingly no rhyme or reason for the insulation being where it is.
Blown-In Cellulose Insulation
Cellulose insulation in the attic provides an excellent option for those looking to add efficiency to their home. It is a very versatile option that allows us to add insulation that conforms to the space.
Venting The Attic
We have options that take away the need to vent your attic space. With blow in insulation in this case it is still important to vent the attic, but the cold attic air make much of an impact on the living space below because of the cellulose insulation.
Installed Baffles
Baffles help the airflow in your attic. When we install a system like this we make sure to first install new baffles along the rafters so the airflow of the attic is not interupted.
The Deeper The Better!
We blow in a deep layer of insulation into the attics we work with. Determining how deep you want your insulation to be is a decision you can make with your specialist who is trained in the insulation needs of homes in your area.
