DBS Reflects and Gives Back at Quarter 3 Re-cap
The DBS family typically gathers at least once quarterly as a company. We recently held our Quarter 3 wrap-up meeting and took time to reflect and celebrate some successes. Despite this being a bit more difficult due to the pandemic, we gathered separately in several locations and held the meeting partially in-person and partially via video.
DBS Gives Back
At the kick-off of the meeting, staff were encouraged to drop-off food donations. Our goal was to pack a production truck full of grocery bags to donate to community members in need. We partnered with the Salvation Army in both the Duluth and Metro offices and managed to collect nearly 300 pounds of food. There are plenty of ways to give this season, visit www.duluthsa.org to find out how!
Sustainable Growth
DBS has been steadily growing each year since we opened in 2012. This next year will be no different, with a forecast of record-breaking sales goals for 2021. This means that our HR and Recruiting efforts are increasing to help us find our next team members.
HR Manager Heather Klingsporn rolled out the new employment tagline “Come for the culture, stay for the opportunity.” This tagline captures our effort to create a culture that is unique from other contractors. A place where we are both fixing home and redefining our industry. With that, we hope to attract great candidates that once they work for DBS have the potential for great amounts of personal and professional growth with DBS.
DBS Quarter 3 Goals and Highlights
At our company meeting, Directors from each department share highlights, reflect on the hard work of their teams and summarize projections for the quarter ahead. Here are some of the highlights from Quarter 3:
