Sinking Garage in Embarrass, MN.
Challenge
DBS received a call about a sinking garage problem that needed to be fixed, the clients called DBS saying that their garage had been gradually sinking in the corners and they had noticed the concrete in the garage cracking more as the sinking had progressed. They were concerned that the cracking and sinking was creating an unstable environment, but they still wanted to utilize their garage space without worrying that it would continue to sink. The homeowners did the right thing by addressing the problem with DBS because the problem would’ve continued to grow if they had not reached out.
Solution
From viewing the garage in person, we concluded that the home in Embarrass needed our lift and level service for the exterior concrete to keep the garage from sinking further. It would need to be raised and leveled to its original placement. We use our PolyLevel product and service to ensure the leveling has been done and maintained for our customers. Bringing the garage back to equilibrium, repairing the cracks in the concrete garage floor, and making sure the service is maintained in the future is the expectation of DBS. The homeowners were very pleased with their raised garage and DBS was happy to do it!
